I haven't been writing many 'real' blog posts lately... Mostly, during the school session, I'm rather busy with school-related stuff and have no time to go out or do much social activities. Then, when I'm on break, I'm just too lazy to do anything, lol.
Although another year has already past, there hasn't been much that I have written about. So, for today, I just want to share a bit about my Christmas and New Year's Days. I actually didn't really do much for those two days, so this post is mainly just random photos.
On my Christmas, as the title of this post says, it was a very lazy day. All that I did was go to my older cousin's house for lunch. Although we live in the same city, we never see each other. That's why it was nice to visit after so long for the holiday. Also, the food was really good!
Sebastian also had fun looking at himself in a mirror lol
My cousin has two large dogs. This one is Bodie. Although he's just a puppy, he's already this big! I liked him a lot. He reminded me a lot of my own doggie.
After lunch, my family and I just went home. I lazed around on my laptop. My dad watched his TV. My mom slept. My sister went to work. Sebastian went to his grandma's house. Everyone just did their basic typical routine.

For New Year's Eve, I didn't bother staying up late nor did I watch any of the TV special concerts. I felt lazy and just went to sleep like usual. However, my mom wanted a family party on New Year's Day.
Like all of our family parties, it was just a simple gathering.
We ate dim sum and other Chinese food that my relatives brought down with them for lunch.
Then for dinner, we ate more Chinese food, which my mom and aunts cooked.
Later in the evening, my friends and I went out to Denny's since it was nearby. I was already full from my family dinner, so just decided to order a hot fudge brownie a la mode and coffee.
The restaurant still had Christmas decorations out
The brownie looked pretty yummy, but it was really really really sweet! It was a good thing I had coffee to balance out the sweetness! The brownie was still decent, but it also tasted a bit old... not a bad rotten kind of old, but just that you could tell it wasn't freshly baked that day. The coffee also seemed a bit watery tasting even after having added one and a half cups of creamer. I guess this is somewhat expected coming from a fairly budget diner franchise though. For the brownie & coffee (w/free refills) being a total of only $5, you can't really complain.
After that, went back to my friend's house to play Xbox kinect. It was my first time playing that system. Well, actually, I mainly just watched. It was so amusing! We first played Dance Central. I only played two songs after everyone else was already tired. Then, my friends switched it to a martial arts/kung fu game. Watching them play was just so funny!! They became tired very quickly though. It also became a bit late, so everyone just went home afterwards. It was a good night!
Well, that's pretty much how my Christmas and New Year's Days were spent. Pretty simple, huh?
So, until next time,
- かほう
