Goodbye First Job

Well, I’m now officially jobless.

The summer semester official ends next week, but I was told by a little white note that yesterday was going to be my last day tutoring at school. It was easy money, but kinda sucks since I was basically cut-off from another week’s pay... it would’ve been an extra $100+ in my next check.

There really were no students coming in for tutoring though. I was pratically getting paid to sit there. I’m just a little bitter since it is only one week left (which I only work 4 days, 16 hours, of), and they didn’t seem to really cut anyone else besides me and another girl. Everyone else apparently gets to stay... everyone who pretty much likes chatting up the tutoring center staff.

So... I’m just wondering if they decided to cut me just because I’m not a suck up like the other workers. Well, sorry for not trying to make convo with you, dear employers, but it’s not like anyone ever tried to initiate conversation with me either! Everytime I was by my lonesome self at my table being foreverlonely, did anyone ever come approach me? Nope. Never. So, why so I be the one to take initiative to talk to anyone myself? Besides... what’s there to really even talk about? Life is boring.

Don’t think you’re any better because you get a desk and computer. What do you even do at ’work’ anyway? Check out your Facebook? Twitter? Read articles online? From what I saw, only one out of the three staff actually work, the one who does payroll. Truthfully, I don’t really see any reason to have the other two around. Maybe one for the front desk? But they have the student workers doing that for them.Oh well, maybe it’s just a lesson to learn. Be a kiss up to future employers/staff and talk to them even if it’s boring and an extra task.

Besides that, what really irked me was the note. I was informed about my final day by a single note put into my work folder. Sure, it was obviously written to try not to irritate me, well #FAIL. The words just do not really read sincerely to me. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me? The excuse was due to lack of students coming in and budgeting issues. If that’s so, then why not just cut everybody’s hours short or close the damn place? But whatever. Well, I can see how it’s better than telling me upfront in my face that I’m no longer needed, but the note was just... I don’t know. It was just a little irritating, that is all I can really say about it.

One last thing... what was a little suspicious was that the day before, after work, a co-worker asked if I thought they would really keep everyone until the end. Hmmm? Was it really just coincidence? I mean, really? Ah, I should’ve kept my thoughts hidden, but I answered truthfully. Too truthfully. I said that I felt it was a ”waste of money, but I’m not complaining.” *facepalm* Given the time of the question, and the lay-off, I’m pretty sure co-worker had an idea of what was going on... This just leads to questions. Was I back-stabbed or just overheard? Answers unknown. Mysterious, mysterious.

Well, plus side is that I get a complete full month of break.
I’m free~

/End angry rant, lol

A Day in My Life

Last Friday, I accompanied my sister to her school since she needed to do some school-related stuff. (Truthfully, I just followed so she could take pictures of me around campus. What? It’s a pretty campus, you know. Good for photoshoots.lol)

Also, there was a fair going on, but we didn’t go.
There were lots of these signs directing visitors to a park and ride.
Only the last sign said that it wasn’t free parking! lol

My sister’s stuff didn’t take too long, so we had plenty of time to take pictures :14:

The school has a lot of ducks and geese around.

Here’s one of them.

Me: ”I’m gonna get you!thUntitled-10

Duck: ”Not if I’m in the water.”
Me: :m:

More duck chasing:
I think this is a cool shot, see the crow in flight?

All of the duck run/waddle away.

We pasted by a flock of geese.
*creep *creep*

Look, I’m with a flock of geese So exciting:x:

I can’t really get too close to the geese because they attack people... One of the boy geese was starting to get ready to attack me if I got any closer. :face32:

Okay, I finally stop pestering the birds. haha

Leaning on a tree shot.

I sometimes see models in magazines pose like this, but they look much better.

I like this one more, but it’s a bit blurred.

Moving on to leaning on a rock!

Now, standing on rocks:r:

Apparently, I wasn’t allowed to. But, there’s no sign16 My sister told me that it’s on the other side of the rocks. *facepalm*

I believe I can fly ~ :8:03

I asked my sister/photographer:
”How come I look so short? 4 Take one from a low angle.”

See, much better, right?

She didn’t take anymore low angle shots though :face10:

One of the last shots while walking to the car.

Before going home, we first walked around the mall. Didn’t think about taking pictures, but it’s a pretty typical mall. I guess it caters a bit more to teens, it has shops like Love Couture, Hollister, Ambercrombie,H&M, etc.

Got some Orange Julius (pina colada) and Chipotle to eat before heading home. Yums.

Back at home relaxing in the backyard to finish my pina colada.

Hammock!

Last photo. Does it look like I have long legs? haha

Well, that’s was my Friday!

Until next time, bye bye

My Father’s Birthday /

Good evening.

My family and I went to eat at a restuarant for my dad’s birthday. We went to a Chinese restaurant.

It is a new restaurant. Today was the grand opening.

The interior was very nice. Look at the table decor:x:

テーブルウエアは いいですが、 フォークは ミスマッチでした1522
これは わたしと あねの フォークでした。30 もっと あねの フォークが すきので、 きりかえました。
The tableware was nice, but the forks were mismatched! This is my and my sister’s forks. I liked my sister’s fork more so we switched. lol

:face21:
We ordered: noodle soup, Peking spareribs, mongolian beef, the restaurant’s House Shrimp, and chicken chow mein. I was a little sad because there wasn’t walnut prawns on the menu. I love walnut prawns.emoticon20

The noodle soup was interesting. It was the first time I ate this dish.

The noodle soup tasted like chicken chow mein, but with soup. It’s completely different, but still tasty. The noodles were firm and cooked well. Also, the soup was savoury.

Here is the restaurant’s House Shrimp, but... Isn’t this... walnut prawns??18

But without the walnuts... Well, it’s alright since I just love the shrimp. It’s really delicious!

あの。。。
Ah, the Peking spareibs we ordered came out as salt & pepper spareribs. It’s okay though, since both were the same price anyway. Even though it wasn’t what we ordered, the spareribs were still amazingly tasty!14 Usually spareribs have only thin peices of meat stuck to the bone, but this was large juicy mouth-watering pieces of meat! Super amazingly delicious.:132:Ah, I want to eat the spare ribs nowtnda seru

I liked all of the dishes. The food was really good. It’s a nice restuarant, and I want to come again later.

To tie it all up, I think this has got to be the most contemplative fortune I’ve ever gotten thus far from a cookie!

attention is the mother of intelligence.
