I usually do not wear makeup, but once in a while I like to dress up and play around. Since I don’t frequently put on makeup, I just buy the cheap stuff.
For a while, my local 99 Cents Only Store stocked false eyelashes. I bought a few from there, but the lashes have recently been out of stock. Since I can’t get my cheap eyelashes at the 99 cent store anymore, I have to move on to the next cheapest, DAISO! ( ゚▽゚)
DAISO is basically the Japanese equvilant of a dollar store, only that things are 100 yen. In the US, the products are priced at $1.50, which is still a pretty good deal. Sometimes items may cost a bit more than that though, so it’s better to be careful to double check the price of items. Especially so since every DAISO I’ve been to does not allow returns/exchanges!
Unfortunately, there isn’t a DAISO that’s located conviently for me *sadface*, but luckily, I was able to visit one out of town yesterday!! wwww
The lashes were all just $1.50! ~
I bought two sets and a pair of bottom lashes.
I’ve always wanted to try some bottom lashes since I’ve seen them in the Japanese fashion mags. None of the local stores around my area sold them, but I’ve finally found some! *(^o^)*
Also at DAISO, I found some eyelid tape, also $1.50!
I’ve got psuedo-monolid eyes. What does that mean?
Most people are more familiar with double-lid and monolid. What I have are folds (creases) on my eyelid, BUT the folds are hidden beneath the eyelid skin when my eyes are fully opened. So, my eyes appear to be monolid, even though they’re not really.
Hopefully, with the eye tape, I can make my creases bigger and visible.
I’m super estatic! I really want to try the lashes and tape out!! ( ^ω^ )
Next post, I’ll show how they look!

Edit: I’ve lost my eyelash glue! NOOO!!! ( ≧ д ≦ )
Edit 2: Now that I’ve bought new eyelash glue, I lost where I put the lashes and tape! Arggghhh! m(_ _)m
