Since the start of fall quarter at uni, there have been several school activities fairs & events, which equal to freebies!
Most often, I had to fill an e-mail card in order to get the free items though... TIP: Try to designate a spam e-mail account for these type of things. There was another event going on today, but some of the booths made you like them on Facebook first. Not cool for those do not have a smart phone + internet (me).

At least the booth giving out free t-shirts had computers set out for people to use and ’like’. The internet was so slow. It took probably an hour for me to finally get to the the front of the line (there were maybe about only 30 people max. ahead?), and I just borrowed my cousin’s phone to use instead. I’m happy I was able to get my shirt though.
Here’s what I was able to get today!
(a small number of things are from yesterday)

Many of the other freebies I’ve gotten are cups, pens, tote bags, and frisbees. So far, I think the best things I’ve gotten are the free shirts from the university booths. I’m going to try to collect as many free shirts as I can! (Well, I’m already paying so much for school tuition, might as well try to get the most out of it, right?)
I love going to the booths with the spinning wheels. It’s so exciting seeing what you’re going to get/hope for what you want while the wheel spins. Although, I usually don’t get the things I want... boo.

Beside events, I also learned that some clubs may give out small freebies, at least for the first club meeting. It’s just incentives to try to get some new potential members interested. I wonder if some people only go to the 1st club meetings to try to get free items? Should I try it out next year? haha
Well, I think it’s a good thing to try to get freebies if your school gives them out too. Especially when you’re a poor college student out of many, you can snag yourself some school supplies and possibly food.
See you next post,
